Removing Personal & Criminal Records
from Internet Aggregators and Background Check Companies

Experienced Attorneys, Flat Fees, 180 Day Turnaround

Do you want to have your personal information removed from the Internet?

What records can your attorneys remove?

We can remove records from the following locations:

  1. Aggregators: companies like BeenVerified.com automatically collect (“aggregate”) your name, address, telephone numbers, date of birth, criminal records, financial records, and other data from various free internet sources. After they have built a report on you, Aggregators will then sell the information to anyone who is willing to pay a few dollars.

  2. Background Check Companies: larger companies like HireRight will not only compile records on you from free internet sources, but they will also submit open records requests to government agencies (like the Oklahoma Dept. of Corrections and the Dept. of Transportation) to build a more accurate background check database. These companies then sell background check services to large employers who don’t have time to do in-house background checks on every hire they make. Background check companies tend to have more accurate information than what Aggregators are able to find for free online.

  3. Official State Records: finally, many state agencies post their records online and these can be searched for free, by anyone, at any time. Examples for Oklahoma include searchable courthouse records on the Oklahoma Supreme Court Network, the ODOC’s Offender Lookup, and the OBN’s Methamphetamine Offender Registry.

Through a combination of lawsuits, letters, and phone calls, our team can get all of these records removed, and your privacy can be restored. Contact us today.

How long does the removal take?

Aggregator records can be removed within about 30 days; official state records can be removed in 90 days; and background check company records take the longest at approximately 6 months.

Is this a subscription, where I have to pay every month?

No. We charge a one-time flat fee, and if we have missed a record that we agreed to remove, we will correct the issue without charge. Call us and let us know what records you want taken down, and we’re happy to provide a quote.

Is there anything that cannot be removed?

Yes, newspaper articles. Newspapers are protected by the 1st Amendment and we cannot force them to take their articles down. However, we have developed personal relationships with many newspaper offices in Oklahoma and we’ve had good success asking that the records be removed, so long as certain conditions are met. Contact us today to discuss the specifics if you have a question about a newspaper article that is affecting your life.
